I want to thank you for coming across my page. For nearly seven years I have poured my heart into the hair and make-up industry. I’ve created awesome clientships with amazing individuals, had amazing opportunities in the fashion, film, and hair industry, and came across such great people.
Last year, I visited the Los Angeles Dream Center and perspective started to change for me. A year later, I found myself walking the soil of Adama and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. When I came home I was offered a position in the Worship & Creative Arts Department at South Bay Church, my home church for nearly two years.
What does that mean for hair and make-up? I have decided to stay in the salon for current clients. You can make your appointments online here. My days are limited so I highly suggest pre-booking your services.
Future Brides, do not worry! I will still do weddings, although I am not committing to anything more than four months in advance unless it is a destination wedding. But, I have a group of amazing stylists who I have trained, worked closely with, and some I’ve educated as students who are more than happy to do your wedding.
Photo shoots, fashion shows, and TV gigs are always such an privilege to be part of. I will choose based on my availability, and will also “pay it forward”to the stylists I work closely with.
Yes, my career has taken a slight turn down a different creative path. Kalani Style will now be a mesh of all the things I enjoy. It will be a space I utilize as my creative outlet. Hair, make-up, and fashion will always be part of me. Now, I can share it on a more personal level.
I can’t leave out the best part!
When you buy my clothing on Threadflip, have your hair and/or make-up done by me, it will go into my “Left my heart in Ethiopia” fund which will help send me back and forth from the Bay Area to Ethiopia.
THANK YOU for being part of this journey with me. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come!
